“مقاصد الفلاسفة” يتناول إمام الغزالي رحمه الله تعالى، ويُعَدُّ قلعة صامدة ضد معاول الإلحاد ودعاة الفلسفة. يدرس الكتاب فلسفة الفلاسفة بدراسة متبصرة، ثم يشرع في نقدها ونقضها، معتمداً على تأليفه طريقة العلماء الحكماء في الاطلاع على آراءهم وغربلتها وتصفيتها والرد عليها.
